One day, my realtor husband, Doug, was showing a few houses to a girl and her best friend. The best friend was engaged and looking for a photographer so Doug mentioned that I take wedding photos and he gave her my number. Well, that best friend was Nikki.
Nikki was engaged to Mike Tyson. No, not that Mike Tyson.
The best thing about Mike is that he’s such a goofball and I love how much he makes Nikki laugh.
Mike has a daughter named Ariel and they wanted to include her in their photos. When I arrived for their session at Reed Bingham State Park, she ran up to me and hugged me like I was her best friend. She held my hand anytime we were walking. It was so cute. I love her little personality!
I knew I was going to love working with Mike and Nikki when she told me they wanted to do some Harry Potter themed photos. Meeting and working with fellow nerds is such an honor and I loved every second of this engagement session!
I got to shoot their wedding and I ended up going with them and Doug to look at homes of their own shortly after! We all quickly became friends and I’m so glad we met!
