Last year I went on my first cruise. This year was my second time going on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas and it was just as fun as the first. I went with my mother in law in 2018 and this year we added my sister in law. We got into some shenanigans and had a blast!
Our topic this year was Hope. Ann spoke a little on it and then she had some guest speakers: Kathy Worthman and Cece Wager. They reiterated the fact that sometimes when God makes promises to us, there’s a waiting period. Things don’t always happen when we expect or when we want them to. Sometimes it’s in the waiting where God shows you what you really want or need.
Our excursion this year was a tour of Nassau. Our tour guide was the best. He knew his stuff and he was absolutely hilarious. This guy could have his own t.v show and I’d watch it. The sites were so beautiful and the history was so interesting. My favorite parts were Fort Fincastle and Atlantis. Although I was a little disappointed I didn’t get to see Aquaman there..
We didn’t get to go to CocoCay again this year because of the weather, but we still had fun on the ship. The funniest thing was walking around the ship yelling “Marco!” and waiting on strangers to answer “Polo!” We also got to enjoy a lunar eclipse on our last night there. It was difficult to get photos of it so I just enjoyed the moment.
Again, I can’t wait for the next cruise! I just hope we get to go to CocoCay. At this point I’m not even sure it really exists..
